“VEEP: Election Night”

A pretty simple poster overall, obviously takes inspiration from campaign posters and iconic American imagery. I decided to include the Capitol building as it has a more defined and recognizable especially for what I was planning. The stripes go vertical rather than horizontal so the letters could switch off and add a cool effect towards the top. The silhouettes are the main characters and add just another color to contrast. VEEP was put at an angle to reflect as if it were all a perspective shot. I did try and put a red line above but it just didn’t look right so I got rid of it. And finally, the blue on the bottom and info in the stars was easy to incorporate and stuck with the theme.
